Water pressure problems, slow drains, aging water heaters, and hidden leaks all share one trait: they rarely fix themselves. Left alone, small plumbing issues in Hampton homes grow into water damage, higher utility bills, and emergency repairs. Paul the Plumber addresses these problems directly, with licensed technicians who diagnose the cause rather than patch the symptom. For 22 years, we have served Hampton and the surrounding seacoast area with plumbing work built to last.

Plumbing Services We Provide in Hampton

Hampton homes range from historic coastal properties to newer construction near Route 1, and each type brings its own plumbing demands. Older houses often hide galvanized steel pipes that corrode from the inside, restricting flow and rusting the water. Newer homes may have PEX or copper systems that need proper maintenance to reach their full lifespan. We work on all of these, matching our methods to the materials already in place and to the way each household uses water.

Our core plumbing work covers repairs, replacements, and installations throughout the home. This includes fixing dripping faucets and running toilets, clearing stubborn drain clogs, replacing worn shut-off valves, and installing new sinks, tubs, and fixtures. We also handle larger jobs such as repiping sections of a house, moving supply lines during remodels, and installing sump pumps to keep basements dry during the wet seasons that the seacoast regularly delivers.

Water heaters deserve special attention in a climate like Hampton’s, where cold groundwater makes an efficient unit essential. We service and replace both tank and tankless models. Tank units are dependable and cost less up front, while tankless systems save space and provide continuous hot water for busy households. During any water heater visit, we check the temperature and pressure relief valve, inspect for sediment buildup, and confirm the venting is safe and correct.

How We Approach a Plumbing Job

Good plumbing work starts with an accurate diagnosis. When you call us out, the first step is understanding what the system is actually doing, not just what the visible symptom suggests. A leak under a sink might come from a supply line, a drain connection, or a failing fixture, and each requires a different fix. We take the time to trace the problem to its source so the repair holds.

Once we know the cause, we explain what we found and what your options are. We believe you should understand the work before it happens, which is why we provide up front pricing. You know the cost before we begin, and there are no surprises added at the end. This approach reflects how we treat customers like family, giving you the same honest advice we would want in our own homes.

Our workflow on a typical service call follows a clear order:

  • Inspection: We examine the affected area and the connected system to identify the true cause of the problem.
  • Explanation: We walk you through what we found and present the repair or replacement options with clear pricing.
  • Repair: We complete the work using quality parts and proven techniques, protecting your home while we work.
  • Verification: We test the repair under normal operating conditions to confirm it performs correctly before we leave.

Every technician who arrives at your door is licensed and background checked. This matters when you are inviting someone into your home. You get skilled work from professionals who take pride in doing the job right, and you get the peace of mind that comes from knowing who is on your property.

Common Plumbing Situations in Hampton Homes

Coastal living brings specific plumbing challenges. Salt air and humidity accelerate corrosion on exposed metal fittings, which is why we often see valves and connections that seize or leak sooner than they would inland. We use corrosion resistant materials where appropriate and inspect vulnerable connections during routine service so small issues get caught early.

Seasonal shifts also drive many of the calls we handle. During cold snaps, pipes in unheated crawl spaces and exterior walls are at risk of freezing and bursting. We help homeowners protect these lines through insulation and proper routing, and we respond quickly when a freeze causes damage. In spring, melting snow and heavy rain raise groundwater levels, making sump pumps and drainage systems critical for keeping basements dry.

Everyday wear accounts for the rest. Toilets that run continuously waste significant amounts of water and quietly raise your bill. Low water pressure often traces back to sediment, corroded piping, or a failing pressure regulator. Slow drains usually signal buildup that will eventually block the line entirely. We resolve these issues before they escalate, and we can advise on upgrades that reduce the chance of them returning.

Why Hampton Homeowners Choose Paul the Plumber

We are a family owned and operated business, and that shapes how we run everything. We treat employees like family and customers like family, and the result is a team that cares about the outcome of each job. When you work with us, you are dealing with people who value reliability and integrity over shortcuts. We show up when we say we will, and we do the work we promised.

Our reputation reflects that commitment. We are BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and we have earned thousands of verified 5-star reviews across multiple review platforms. Those results come from consistent, careful work over more than two decades. We stand behind every repair and installation with a 2 year parts and labor warranty. Homeowners who join our club membership receive an extended 3 year parts and labor warranty, along with priority attention and regular maintenance benefits.

Beyond Hampton, we serve homeowners throughout the region, including Derry. Wherever we work, the standard stays the same. We offer service with a smile, and we are genuinely happy to help solve whatever plumbing problem you are facing.

Plumbing Maintenance That Prevents Bigger Problems

The least expensive plumbing repair is the one you never have to make. Regular maintenance catches small problems before they cause damage, and it extends the life of the equipment you already own. A water heater flushed on schedule lasts longer and runs more efficiently. Shut-off valves that are exercised occasionally stay functional when you actually need them. Drains that are cleared before they fully clog save you from messy backups.

We recommend a periodic plumbing check for every Hampton home, especially older properties and those near the coast. During a maintenance visit, we inspect supply lines and drains, test water pressure, check fixtures for leaks, examine the water heater, and confirm that emergency shut-offs work. If we find anything developing, we tell you about it while it is still a minor fix rather than a major repair. This proactive approach saves money and prevents the disruption that comes with unexpected plumbing failures.

Whether you need a fast repair, a new water heater, a remodel-related installation, or a maintenance check to keep everything running smoothly, Paul the Plumber has the experience and the workmanship to handle it. Reach out and let us know what your home needs, and we will get it taken care of the right way.

These are the after photos of the Rinnai tankless water heater installation and vent to the outside. It was important to me that the crew was able to use the existing vent hole to the outside to run both the intake vent pipe and the outside vent pipe. It made the job very clean and did not change the appearance of the outside wall. A shout out to Mike E, Caleb, Josh & Corey

We had an issue with our water…too hard, calcium deposits, and very little pressure in our master bathroom shower only. The techs (Mike E. & Tyler S.) arrived right on time. They were friendly and very personable. After installing our whole house filtration system and successfully finding the issue with our master bathroom, they left the work areas in pristine condition. They were meticulous in their work, and I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

DJ from PTP was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. My shower was not draining and it became a bigger project than I thought it would and they came out quickly and were able to fix my problem. Then when my water heater had a slow leak they came back out quickly to attend to it and fix my problem. I really appreciate their hard work. Thank you so much!! Would definitely recommend them.

We’re first time home owners and needed help with some plumbing and adding a filter system. They were able to get a technician scheduled to our house within a day or so of me contacting them. Mike was super helpful and was able to complete all the jobs in a timely manner, and also cleaned up the areas he was working in. Overall a great experience and would definitely use them for future jobs.

K. MacCallum

First time customer, and am very pleased with the whole experience. The highlight was definitely with the technicians assigned to the job and their work – Tyree and Corey were clean, polite, well-informed, and very helpful with some of the questions I had along the way. Their work appears to be top-notch, and they made sure no mess was left behind. Will definitely be calling and requesting these two again on any future needs.

H. MacPherson

What a fantastic business. Helped us work with our water district in resolving meter replacement issues. They also fixed a pipe leak that had developed over time. Caleb was wonderful and answered our questions as well as working with the water district engineer on the meter issues. So easy to work with.

J. Shea

John was wonderful. He found the problem right away and fixed it. He checked other outlets just to make sure I would be safe. He explained different programs the company offers also. I’m very happy.

Arrived as scheduled to fix a leak from the shower valve. Tried to fix old 30 or 40 year old unit but had to replace with a new one. Quality work, parts and cleaned up when they were done. Would definitely use again.

I cannot say enough about this company!!! Their only concern is that you are up and running again with no worries. I’ve had Kyle the plumber, and Josh their electrician out here and both are polite, well trained and you can tell they truly care about getting you back in service. Great service, well trained caring staff! I will never go anywhere else!

S. DesMarais

Josh was amazing. He was able to install my ring doorbells with no issues. He also did a great check of my homes smoke detectors and a few electrical plugs. He was thorough, Knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

W. Chepren

I made an appointment on line the morning of July 31 and two trucks showed up at 1:00 pm right on time that same afternoon. Both guys were friendly and very knowledgeable. They quickly found the source of the wet patch on my ceiling which wasn’t the plumbing but a problem with the shower curtain. This is the second time I have called Paul. Both times I got outstanding service and will always call on Paul the Plumber for any plumbing problems in the future. Very reasonable cost for the visit.

S. Baraket

Never used Paul The plumber company before but I’m glad I did. Very courteous, professional and pleasant from the answering service (Diane) to employees (Jeremy). They diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time. Very happy and satisfied with their service. Definitely will use again. Thank you
